Gina You

Gina You is a Partner at Unified Immigration Lawyers PC. She advises individuals, families, and multinational corporations on a broad range of Canadian immigration matters, with a particular focus on economic immigration. Gina serves clients in both English and Korean.

Her practice includes:

• Economic & Business Immigration: Express Entry, Labour Market Impact Assessments (LMIAs), LMIA-based and LMIA-exempt work permits, and other business immigration matters.
• Family & Temporary Residence: Family sponsorship and temporary resident visas.
• Misrepresentation: Advising and representing clients facing misrepresentation allegations.
• Litigation: Representing clients in complex cases before the Immigration Appeal Division and the Federal Court.

Gina’s passion for immigration law is deeply personal. Having watched her own parents navigate the Canadian immigration system while she was growing up, she understands firsthand the challenges, uncertainty, and frustration that can come with the process. That experience shapes her commitment to providing thoughtful, strategic, and compassionate representation to clients and their families as they work toward making Canada their home.

Gina earned her Juris Doctor from Windsor Law and her Honours Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Toronto. During law school, she completed a semester abroad at the University of Mannheim in Germany, gaining an international perspective she brings to her work with clients from around the world.
